How much Hitler wanted the iPhone

My Latest Obsession - Summer Wine

I think this is the original song.. sung by Nancy Sintra and Lee Hazlewood

and this is another cover by The Corrs and Bono..

and this is the version that got me hooked to this song.. Ville Valo and Natalia Avalon .. personally i think this version is damn sexy... not just because of Natalia Avalon in that video..( she is super sexy in it .. both with and without clothes on.. :P ) ... Ville Valo's voice is deep and sexy.. and he reminds me of Johnny Depp .. enjoy!!

YouTube - Slipknot doing Green Day's American Idiot

This is damn funny... someone edited Slipknot's performance and added Green Day's American Idiot song ... not bad editing.. ehehe..

Cover Songs : Estelle's No Substitute Love Love - George Michael's Faith - Limp Bizkit's Faith

I just saw the latest music video by Estelle - No Substitute Love ... It really gave me an impression of her trying to use George Michael's Faith tune... Below are both videos... it's the beginning of the video that gave me the idea.. it sounded so much like Faith .. don't you think so?? Since we're on the cover song , Limp Bizkit also did a version of Faith during their Nu-Metal days... from their 'Three Dollar Bill Y'all' album.. which was the bomb BACK THEN... hah..

Here's Estelle

Peter Bjorn and John's Young Folks - awesome song..

I was watching Journeyman episode 2... and at the end , this song played... it sounds so damn familiar.. and catchy.. and nice.. i had to look for it.. after like 15 minutes looking all over... i managed to download the song and decided to post a blog about it..

so because i love the song so much , here's the video...the music video and the live performance... not bad...

Weird arty video..

This is a weird video.. but it's very artistic.. very nice.. but weird... it must be damn tedious for the artist to draw and redraw each time... love it.. if I'm not wrong , it's done by these people, BLU ...

Cover Song : Billy Jean by Michael Jackson

This time around , I'll gonna post some Billy Jean done by other people... If you know the song , it's an upbeat disco-ish song popularized by Michael Jackson (if you didn't know that , please kill yourself...) The story of the song is quite sad actually... but MJ sang it to an uptempo danceable song... Recently I got myself Chris Cornell's latest album , Carry On , and he actually covered that song as well (i'll post a proper review on that album soon)... it's the best cover i've heard in years... it fits the song ... it's sad... his voice is beautifully depressing... here it is...

Here's other covers... this is a damn good jazzy version of it... by Alex Cornell (i dont think alex and chris is related... hmmm)

Cobra Starship is seen here at their AOL session doing an acoustic version of Billy Jean... with a lame joke in the beginning... hmmm... it's not too bad... although it's not an improvised version , it sounds good... they can sing... :)

And here's a cover by Sidewalk Prophets... hmmm... no comment?? ahahha... but that big dude can really sing!!!! it looks funny... but he can sing!!! ehehe..

Melissa Cross - and you thought vocals lesson is gay...

"When people ask me what style of singing I teach, I say, 'Anything passionate'". - Melissa Cross

Dave , introduce me to Melissa Cross some time ago... saying that he wanted to get her DVD to learn how to sing... hmmm.. i thought that was gay... that's until I saw the list of satisfied 'students' of hers... here's some of the 'students'

All That Remains, Arch Enemy,Candiria,Chimaria,Cradle of Filth,Every Time I Die, From Autumn to Ashes, Full Blown Chaos, God Forbid,God or Julie,Haste the Day, Ill Nino,It Dies Today, Killswitch Engage, Kittie,Lamb of God,Melissa Auf der Maur,Shadows Fall, Sick Of It All,SliPKnoT,The Showdown,36 Crazyfists,Throwdown,Trivium,Underoath ,Unearth,Walls of Jericho

ehehe.. how's that for a vocals lesson?? if you know any of the band , you'll know that it's not the normal singing.. it's more of screams , growls , .... you know... metal stuff...

Anyway , Dave wanted to get the Zen of Screaming 1 & 2.. i'm not a vocalist.. but i'm damn interested to know how the hell these people can really scream their lungs out everytime they perform...without fail... that's interesting...

Here's some videos taken off youtube.com...

And below is an interview with Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy and Melissa Cross (interview by metal injection) ... at the end of the interview , there'll be the video clip of Nemesis by Arch Enemy from the album , Doomsday Machine...enjoy...
