The Sood brother's VoodooPC came out with their latest ultra thin laptop.. it's even thinner than the MacBook Air.. can you believe it?? form factor - it's flawless... the casing is built with carbon fiber with custom micro-weave design - you can actually customize it with any designs or patterns that you want.. also can be coated with automotive paints.. ( you want that Ironman's 'hot-rod red' on it?? ) ... and it seems that you can actually chrome it too.. now that's supercool..
Performance-wise is about the same compared to the MacBook Air... running on 1.6GHz/1.8GHz Core 2 Duo... 2GB ram , either an 80gb hard drive or a 64GB solid drive ... graphics card - intel's x3100 (shared memory) ...Multitouch trackpad (they call it multiple finger tracking -.- )...webcam..
the difference with MacBook Air is , the superdrive (dvd writer) is bundled together.. instead of micro-dvi , they have the HDMI port. oh yeah.. they have the Kensington lock slot.. which is not available on the MacBook Air. Slightly heavier than MBA at 1.53kg ...
It's preloaded with Vista... but they have got Linux running too.. and you can do that instant-on thing with that... you can access your music , internet browsing , Skype and other simple task in a couple of seconds..
