Apple's MacBook Air - It Blows My Mind!!!!!!!! - Thinnest Laptop In The World Baby!!

If you havent been watching Steve Jobs' Keynote presentation at today's Macworld 2008 , you would think that the picture you see above , is just a piece of aluminium sheet with an Apple logo on it ... but what can i say , Apple has done it again!!! it's the new laptop , and it's called MacBook Air.. not because it's floating.. but because of the whole idea of being wireless... shit i dunno where to start..

Imagine the MacBook Pro in the size of the MacBook.. much much more thinner , with the MBP's sleek finishing and MacBook's cool keyboard - in BLACK!! .. ehehe...





MacBook Air is a full-size notebook encased in the 0.16 to 0.76 inch of sleek, sturdy anodized aluminum. It weights 3.0 pounds, the glossy 13.3-inch, widescreen LED backlit MacBook Air display is the same viewable size as the screen on MacBook with 1280-by-800 resolution (huahahhahaha.. crazy stuff man..)



"MacBook Air includes an oversize trackpad with multi-touch technology. You can pinch, swipe, or rotate to zoom in on text, advance through a photo album, or adjust an image. This gesture-based input so successful on iPhone and iPod touch now comes to MacBook." - imagine working on your photos on this MBAir ... make's life easier isn't?? talk about innovation..

Some of the setbacks of this machine is that , there's no network (LAN /broadband ) port for it... and there's no optical drive (optional) ... the whole idea of this MBair is to operate everyday's requirements wirelessly and it's able to do just that.. most places are already with wireless network.. and regarding software installations , you can use any Mac/PC as a 'host' for the installers (you'll need a special software to operate it that way)... other than that , there's only 1 USB2.0 and there's no more firewire ports..
